Extra tickets for August 2008 ceremonies
There are NO extra tickets for the following ceremonies:
Saturday 9 August at 10:30am - Engineering and ABP
Saturday 23 August at 10:30am - Science, Economics & Commerce, LFR
Saturday 23 August at 3:30pm - Economics & Commerce
Wednesday 27 August at 7:30pm - Law, Music, Education, MDHS
There are extra tickets available for the following ceremony:
Saturday 9 August at 3:30pm - ARTS
Extra tickets for this ceremony will be available at the Student Administration Enquiries Counter, Level 1, Raymond Priestley Building from Monday 4th August.
Please note:
- It is not possible to reserve tickets - they must be collected from the enquiries counter.
- If a graduand cannot attend at the University, they can send a friend or family member in their stead
Postgraduate Diploma, Postgraduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Graduate Certificate
If you have completed one of these awards, you do not attend a ceremony. Instead, you will graduate in absentia when your award is granted at the next available award date (27 August 2008), and your certificate will then be sent to you during September 2008.
Within Australia, certificates are sent via Registered Post.
Certificates are sent to overseas addresses via international courier.
A letter advising that your award is to be granted in August 2008 and giving you the opportunity to amend any name or address details if necessary will be sent to you in late July 2008. Please ensure your address for the Winter period is up to date, as this is where this letter will be sent.
Doctoral degrees
- students who have completed Doctor of Philosophy degrees should receive information specific to their graduation from the SGS upon completion.
- Students who have completed other doctorates should receive information specific to their graduation from their Faculty upon completion.
